Canon Paul Hooper, the new Anglican Diocesan Director of Clergy DevelopmentClergy News: Canon Paul Hooper 
Warm congratulations to Paul on the news (just before Easter 2009) of his appointment as Director of Clergy Development for the Anglican Ripon & Leeds Diocese. The post will take effect later this year. Paul has served as vicar of St Mark's for some fourteen years and was the 2003-4 President of Churches Together in Harrogate. Our prayers and best wishes go with him and his family as he prepares for his new ministry and work across the diocese, with a new home base in Harrogate.

Work to enlarge the coffee shop/vestibule at West Park commenced 23 January; coffee shops continue on Thursdays only in the hall along with Sunday worship services. Re-opening expected by Easter 2009.

The Annual Assembly looked at the various elements of the ministry in January 2009 and a Working Group met on 13 March 2009, reporting back to the Exec on Thursday 26 March at Trinity; more info from members of the Exec team or via your Area Group.
